When it comes to marriage, there are lot of things that you both have to do to make it last. There is lot of things that you have to do in order to make the relationship solid and like the day that you met. You have to do things on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis so that you can make your relationship solid. You will want to do these following things so that your mate knows that you love them and that you still want them. Everything that you do and that you don't do will make or break your marriage.

1) Meet and greet each other, daily.

You want to spend ten minutes day, at least, just asking each other how the day went. You will want to make sure that you take the time to just communicate with each other and make something out of the day.

2) Take the time to make daily contact with each other.

When you are out and about, you two should either hold hands or you should find some other way to make some contact. You will also want to kiss them every time that you leave or they leave the home and every time that they come home. You should also kiss your mate when you are going to bed and even every now and then through out the night and day.

3) Tell your mate how much you love them.

You don't have to have a quota, but make sure that you tell the person that you love them every now and then, but at least once a day. Tell them when they enter a room, when you two are going to bed, when you wake up, any time that it just feels right. Don't hold back either! If you feel like saying I love you, then you should. You know it is very rare that those words are said too often.

4) Also, you need to share the intimacy time.

You will want to pay attention to more than just the deed. You will want to think about things like foreplay and doing other intimate things like back rubs and cuddling. There is more to intimacy then sex. If you take the time to see, what makes your partner happy and what makes you happy so that you can find a medium.

5) You should also support your spouse by telling them several times a day that they are a good person or just something nice in general.

You will want to support them in their ideas and thoughts, as well as, validate their feelings. You should never say that they are stupid or their ideas are wrong because it makes them feel horrible. After years of lack of attention and support, the marriage will crumble. It is best that you take the time to support your partner, as well as, your marriage.

6) Be nice to your spouse.

You should take in consideration of their feelings so that you can make the marriage pleasant. You should also think about doing things just for them. Bring them home their favorite meal. Buy them things that are in their favorite colors or what makes them look good. Just do random things for them so that you can show them how much you truly think about them.

7) You need to also find things that you mutually enjoy.

You need to do some time together so that you can spend some quality time together. You will find that a couple who does things together will stay together longer. They will be able to support each other and support each other in going for dreams. There is a lot of mutual respect that you can gain from a spouse that you spend a lot of time with.

8) The last thing that you will want to consider is having a night for yourself.

There should be two nights a week that you do something without each other. When you are able to stay independent, you don't have to worry about where the relationship is going and how it got there. You don't have to feel like you are stuck in a rut. You don't have to do anything. You can stay in the house and you both can do two different things in different rooms. You can go up stairs and watch a movie, and he can stay downstairs and work on a hobby. The time part will make the marriage stronger.
