How To Capture and Keep Your Man

These relationship issues are inevitably extremely important to us. We are not ideally suited to living life alone. In fact that is a quite unnatural and difficult way in which to live ones life on many emotional and practical levels. I remember watching a documentary on television not all that long ago. I regret that I do not actually recall the species of bird being featured, but their flirting and mating preparations were memorably elaborate.

The male spent a long time busying himself in the task of making a perfect and super attractive nest. The lengths to which he went were way above what was necessary for a cozy and practical nest. His purpose was to show his intended mate how his nesting abilities were superior to others, to show her how able he was to provide for her, to prove what lengths he would go to for her. He was giving in order to get.

All should apply this principle. Give freely of what you wish to receive in return. We hear talk about Karma and we understand its principles but we do not always apply it with intent. And so instead of asking how to capture your man or how to keep your man, perhaps one should ask what does that man want or what can I give to that man?

If what you are looking for is love, then love is what should be given. If you use cheap tricks to "pull" your intended partner in then you should not be surprised when you are repaid by equally cheap tricks and a shallow superficial relationship.

There are many tips passed from one to another about flirting or chat up lines that work and so on. These will work in the ways in which they are applied. If they are used superficially the result will be the same. If, on the other hand, they are used with "heart" as part of your authentic self, then the results achieved will be equally real and lasting.

It is not what you say; it is how you say it that matters. It is not what you do; it is the emotional force that underlies it that matters. You will only enter a deeply loving relationship when you are ready to give that emotion freely yourself. Some people do this quite naturally whilst for others fear holds them back.

Fear is a warning signal, intended to protect oneself from threat and danger. This is all well and good, but when felt without good reason it becomes a negative and destructive force. Fear of loving undermines and destroys potentially good relationships.

To be able to create good relationships one has to first look within, face ones fears, build confidence and trust and thereby learn to give freely of your real self. You have to be able to open your heart fully to another if what you want is a deep connection with that other person.
