A mind is a terrible thing to waste. And when it comes to the dreams that you want to achieve in your life, it's something that you can not take for granted.

Believing that dreams are possible is a clear way to creating happiness and abundance in your life. Too often we will make up goals, create vast plans, but in the backs of our minds, whisper that we don't think it will actually happen.

And that kind of things is not going to get you anywhere.

1) What you need to do right now

Instead, you need to start living your life as though you already have the things that you want.

Granted, you don't want to spend your rent money or your food budget, but you do want to start changing the way that you live in order to make room for your dreams.

This might mean that you begin to dress differently than you normally do, as though you had more money or were working in a particular career that you aspire to.

It might mean that you start practicing your dream job or learning about the job that you want to be a part of your success.

2) Right now, what can you be doing to create a new life?

If you're looking to change your career, you can start by taking classes in skills that you will need to have or going to meetings with other business owners of the same persuasion.

Try to act as though you already have what you want, immerse yourself in it. This is what creates the opportunities for your dreams to really come true.

If you're looking to have a loving relationship, your action might be to start meeting with people that share the same goals as you ' i.e. a singles group. You might want to start treating yourself the way you want to be treated by a partner.

If you're interested in better health, you need to start thinking of yourself as a healthy person.

3) Give yourself the chance to succeed

Using the laws of attraction to fulfill your dreams is really about being ready for the opportunity for success since like attracts like.

By getting out and starting to live your life as though you already have it, the universe will most certainly provide you with everything you need and want.

You can increase the energy that is surrounding your dreams by acting as though you already have them, but how does this work?

What you're doing is creating a situation in which you're going to expose yourself to the things that you already want.

For example, if you are going to classes that will help you in the job that you want to have, you might meet someone who is already working at that job ' someone that might be able to get you in contact with the human resources manager that needs to hire someone.

This isn't about 'faking it until you make it,' but rather it goes back to the idea that we can create our own reality by allowing it to come true.

We do this by doing things that will increase our personal energy and the energy surrounding our dreams.

4) Why your dream may not be coming true for you

The truth is that most of us don't believe that our mind has so much influence over our lives. We think that it's our actions that cause the effects in our lives.

However, that's not completely true either. We think that things outside of us are the things that are really affecting our lives.

It's the way that someone treated us or the promotion that someone else got. When you want to create your own dreams, you need to choose to be responsible for the actions you take.

You need to create the opportunity, the chance for things to unfold as you wish. You need to have trust in your mind and your ability to change your life for the better.

Realize that everything you do ' good and bad ' is influencing your life. So, if you're not happy with the way things are going, you want to look at yourself first to see if perhaps this is due to a negative habit or action that you've been taking.

Creating your own reality isn't just about the good things that you want to happen, when you create your reality, you're creating the good and the bad. What kind of reality do you want?
