Kabbalah - What I See, What I Feel

By: Mutlu Maydan

Did you ever tell yourself “I knew that!”, but you obviously did the opposite? Well, life is kind of like that. You have an inner inclination, but your mind just can’t bring itself to agree that what you feel is right and what you think is wrong—although you only find that out after it's too late.

If this happens to you a lot, you might find yourself in a bit of a tight knot more often than you would like. On the one hand you have an inner inclination that you can’t 100% put your finger on, and on the other hand your worldly logic has got you so wrapped up you just can’t let it go… So you tell yourself, “I just have to believe what I see, don't I?”

It appears that we are made of two sides of the coin. One is our logic and the other is our feelings. And that's interesting, because our brain is also divided into these two parts, where the left side of the brain is logical and the right side perceives more through feelings.

However, what we are not aware of is the fact that all the things we are going through are limited to the corporeal five senses, which filter everything and reduce it to a cent.

Here is where the science of feelings—Kabbalah—comes in to the picture. It's a practical, experimental science about knowing you! Obviously, we love our selves by nature, so it's a science that anyone is sure to love! It allows the individual to know him/her self from the inside out. Now a bit of a risk disclosure here, “You may not like what you see.” But nevertheless, you begin to relate to the world through the individuality that you discover, which was already in you, but you never knew about.

A lot of us are always thinking about how to keep ourselves together with all the things we go through in life, and let's face it, for some of us it's getting tougher by the day. The wisdom of Kabbalah gives a person the chance to take a look at life from the perspective we never knew we had. It’s a tool for self knowledge and discovery in a truthful way, showing you your true nature—which may be very scary at times. But like we learned from the movie, The Matrix, it’s more valuable to know the truth than to live a lie.

Interested to know more about yourself and why you see, think and feel the way you do? Take a visit to the inner you.

We often feel lost between our minds and our feelings, but through studying Kabbalah one discovers one’s true nature and starts to understand why he feels and thinks the way he does.
