SURRENDERING TO THE FEMININE

By: Susie Heath

Can you imagine how it must feel to a man when we are in our masculine energy? It really turns him off and literally repels him, and we wonder why we fail to impress him! Real men in their core masculine energy are interested in real women. They live for
truly feminine women, so much so that in fact they would kill for them. Young women are still innocent and free, and men drool over freedom - which could give you a clue as to why men run off with the younger version!

Men’s ideas of feminine perfection are different from our ideas. What we admire in women is rarely attractive to men, and yet what we ignore or condemn in other women are sometimes just the characteristics that make her fascinating to men. How blind we are to our own charms!

While we’re inclined to appreciate poise, talent, intelligence, cleverness and artistic beauty such as the shape of the face and nose, and of course clothes, men have a different set of values. They appreciate girlishness, tenderness, sweetness and vivacity, and place more importance on a feminine manner, on that sparkle in the eyes, smiles, freshness and radiance. And that angelic quality that some women possess can awaken in a man such deep tender feelings, almost like worship, bringing him peace and inner happiness in contrast with his own strength. The more feminine a woman becomes, the more he will offer his care, attention and protection, and so his love and tenderness grows along with his self-esteem. He won’t offer his care and protection
unless a woman needs it!

So am I saying we need to become simpering, weak and feeble? Not at all! Men don’t want a pathetic specimen that they can push around; they seek women with an inner passion, someone with an inner fire and dignity. A dynamic woman is really attractive because she creates energy which he can feast on. So don’t be cajoled into thinking that femininity translates to weakness. Our feminine side is a force that can conquer all.

While love is more important to a woman, admiration is more important to a man. When we stop admiring them, they stop being masculine; when we deride them, they cannot perform as men; when we nag them or over-protect them, we sound like their mothers. Can you see where we’re going wrong? And when we help too much, when we take over where they should be, men get weaker and more aimless; we leave nothing for them to strive for. They begin to see themselves as less which leads to resentment; then they bite the hand that feeds them, and we wonder why!

Perhaps now we have proven ourselves, we can stop striving so hard, give in gracefully at last to our natural instincts and come back once more into our soft, yet powerful, loving feminine. When women start to really understand and appreciate this, they so often cry with years of pent-up emotion and relief, longing so much to be released from the constant struggle we have set ourselves. When too we can bring our men back to a place of self-reliance, our relationships will flourish. © Susie Heath
