By: ashu

If your skin type is Oily - Use lathering cleanser, followed by toner for oily skin or clarifying lotion.
For Moisturiser - Oily skin does not need a moisturiser. During the day, a sunscreen can double up as a day moisturiser. A light oil-free moisturiser may be used at night.
As for Protecting - Use a sunscreen for oily skin during the day. If the skin is very oily, a gel formulation may be more appropriate.

If your skin type is Normal - Use lathering cleanser, followed by regular toner.
For Moisturiser - Use light moisturiser during the day. Richer moisturiser during the night.
As for Protecting - Use sunscreen during the day.

If your skin type is Dry - Use non-lathering cleanser. Alternatively, if you like some suds on the face, use a lathering cleanser formulated for dry skin. These usually have added fats so as not to dry the skin.
For Dry skin, you can skip the toner step or use a non-alcoholic toner.
For Moisturiser - Use a moisturiser day and night. A richer moisturiser may be used at night. As for Protecting - Use a sunscreen during the day.

If your skin type is Combination - Use a lathering cleanser on T-zone. Followed by regular toner on the T-zone.
For Moisturiser - Use oil-free moisturiser to dry areas.
For Protecting - Use sunscreen during the day.

If your skin type is Sensitive - If you prefer some suds, choose a lathering cleanser for sensitive skin. If not, choose a non-lathering or tissue-off cleanser. **Avoid using heavily scented products as they may irritate the skin.
Toner - You may skip the toner or use a mild non-alcoholic toner if you must. Avoid heavily scented products.
For Moisturiser - Moisturiser for day and night. Avoid heavily scented products.
For Protecting - Use sunscreens during the day. Avoid using heavily scented products.
