If you try to look for Mauritius on your world map, in most of the cases you may only see a tiny dot. But do not get fooled. Mauritius is one amongst the most well know islands in the world. When you talk about vacations in the sunshine accompanied by turquoise sea, or heavenly hotels with unmatchable service and extraordinary foods, Mauritius is one of the first islands that spring to mind.

If you ask those who have visited Mauritius about their experience, you might be surprised about the amount of positive responses you can get. This proves the fact that Mauritius lives up to its credentials for being a tourism based country. Although small in size, Mauritius has all the facilities to enable anyone live a happy life and enjoy wonderful vacations. Most of the main roads of Mauritius are in good conditions. Transport facilities do not lack in Mauritius as buses encompass almost all parts of the island. You could use either one of these to travel to the nearby shop, shopping mall or beach. Furthermore, almost all beaches in Mauritius are exceptionally beautiful with white sand and clear waters tempting you to have a nap or simply take a dive. The top beaches are scattered along the coasts of Mauritius. One of best beaches to go in Mauritius is the Blue Bay beach found in the south of the island. The place is another example of beauty at its best. The crystal clear sea will let you enjoy and the marine park will keep you amazed for the rest of the day.

The Belle Mare beach is as well a great place to go in Mauritius. The beach is longer than that of Blue Bay and contains a deep lagoon. A tourism centre can also found at Trou d’Eau Douce where you may most certainly find the restaurants or shops of your choice. Le Coco Beach Hotel is as well found at Belle Mare. In case you want to enjoy a fine evening, do arrange a booking.
