Choosing a Subject to Study at University
Newton had thought of becoming a farmer. John Keats was a student of medicine. Lady Ada Lovelace, daughter of the poet Byron, was brought up to be a mathematician. She wrote the first computer programme, but remained extremely imaginative like her father.
How does one know what is the best subject to study at university? Some subjects are touted as the most ‘earning-friendly’, but there’s no magic formula to success.
