Tim Maher's Articles in Happiness

  • Happy as You Want to Be
This article lists a number of ways in which we can be happy at work and at leisure. This is a most important character trait to develop as it impinges on how we see the world and interact with it. Being grateful for the small things in life, less exposure to news which is usually bad, having a religious involvement, managing time well, having a sesnse of humour, and finally bodily exercise. These all contribute to a well balanced happy person.
  • Genuine Happiness Comes from Within
This article is about the art of being and remaining happy in oneself. It doesn't mean that we have to have the biggest or fastest car or indeed earn a huge salary. It has more to do with our attitude to life itself and having a go and taking part and feeling better for having done so. We must first love ourselves and then involve ourselves with life around us in order to make the world a better place to live in by different countless acts.
