How To Get Confidence
Somebody asked me this question and I responded with - excellent question, I'd have to say we gain confidence by taking the chance. The outcome may be what we desired or it may be different but the fact that we took chance gives us confidence. This works with some phobias. I have the height phobia. I try to look below from heights without getting afraid. Small heights first. The phobia is very much there but I will conquer it soon.
How to Improve Kindness Through Speech
It's easy to forget sometimes that people look at us and really listen to what we say. We have a great power when we speak. It is an enormous power that can hurt or heal people. What we say can be uplifting or heartbreaking, as well as making another person feel really good or really bad. We often don't realize it but what we say can make or break reputations. Literally most of the words that we speak are often heard by others who take them quite literally.
How To Love Yourself More
Take a few deep breaths and release the tension from your shoulders. Sit straight and close your eyes for a minute and just relax and breathe. Then, when you feel more relaxed, open your eyes and read the following to yourself slowly:
Learn To Let Go - Part 1
Everyone in the world has faced, at one time or the other, a period where they need to learn to let go. Whether it is a physical object or material goods, emotional attachment or love, or a spiritual trap, it is very important to free yourself of extra baggage. When we are young, we start to accumulate baggage. That baggage includes misbehaviors, fears, and secrets. As we grow into young adults, we start to become secretive about out friends and activities, and that becomes our baggage.
Learn To Let Go - Part 2
As we grow up, it becomes necessary to learn to let go of many things that we have taken on during our life. In Learn To Let Go - Part One we explored the main things that happen to us as we grow up and experience life. We lose family members who move or die; we start to collect memories and memorabilia; we begin to suffer mental, physical, and emotional illnesses;
Learn To Let Go - Part 3
In the earlier parts, we saw that we have all faced periods in our life where we need to learn to let go. We start to accumulate baggage which includes fears, misbehaviors, and secrets. As we grow into young adults, we start to become secretive about out friends and activities, and that becomes our baggage. As we date, marry and grow old, we find that we add to our baggage. Before we realize it, we have accumulated a ton of old baggage that has started wearing us down and out.
Make A Choice Of Being Only Happy
Life gives us many things on our plate. Some of us are plain lucky while others miss many things in life. Life is not fair. There is difference in everything that we get and what others get. Here comes the question of choices. I have come across people who were dealt very good hand by life but they felt no reason to be happy. I have also come across people who played with a very bad hand and won the game.
Some Tips To Develop Your Memory
Most often when we do not remember something like someone’s name or where we placed our keys, it is because we were distracted when we received the information. Developing a habit of pausing in these cases and verbally stating the information will quickly help you improve. Repeat a person’s name, and say out loud something like, "I’m setting the keys on the table."
Team Work- How To Co-ordinate?
Can one escape from teamwork? That looks difficult because no person specializes in all the disciplines. If you have to develop a product, you must have a team of designers, production and marketing staff along with the finance people.
